About Me
Creative Technologist / Visual Designer / Artist
Hello, I’m Avery.
I create digital spaces that feel personal, tactile, and emotionally alive. My work often combines web design, visual systems, playful interaction, and narrative world-building. I like to think of the web as a small world that can be explored, not just a container for information.
I graduated from Parsons School of Design, The New School, in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Design and Technology, Creative Technology Track.
My creative practice is shaped by everyday experiences, identity shifts, migration, adaptation, and emotional perception. Through pixel graphics, collage, interactive websites, visual archives, and spatial work, I explore how digital and physical forms can carry memory, feeling, and a little strange softness.

Web: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Visual: Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Lightroom Classic
Additional: Figma for basic wireframing and simple prototypes, After Effects for basic motion editing
Process: playtesting, user feedback, visual archive, bilingual communication in English and Mandarin Chinese
